What you get

Six things the app does that a question dump does not.

Single best answer, explained properly

Five options, and usually two of them are defensible. Every answer names the one point that makes the best answer better than the second best, because that is where the marks go.

Mocks sat the way the real day runs

FLK1 and FLK2, each as two sessions of 90 questions with 153 minutes on their own clock. Not one long timer, because that is not the exam you are sitting.

A pace trainer, because 102 seconds is the constraint

A live pace bar in every mock, and a report afterwards showing time against accuracy by subject. Being right but slow is a different problem from being wrong, and it needs a different fix.

Ethics tracked inside every subject

Ethics and professional conduct is examined across both papers, not as its own section. You see your ethics score inside each subject, so a weak spot cannot hide behind a strong one.

A predicted exam score

A live estimate of where you would land today, corrected for guessing on five options, broken down by subject. It tells you when to book and when to wait.

Misses come back until they stick

Spaced repetition resurfaces every wrong answer at widening intervals. One tap after a miss says whether you did not know the law, misread the facts or ran out of time, and the app fixes the right thing.

Every subject on both papers

Thirteen subjects across FLK1 and FLK2, with ethics and professional conduct examined inside every one of them rather than on its own.

Common questions

What is SQE1?
SQE1 is the first stage of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination, the route to qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales. It is two papers of functioning legal knowledge, FLK1 and FLK2, each 180 single best answer questions sat in two sessions of 90.
Does the app cover both FLK1 and FLK2?
Yes, all thirteen subjects across both papers, plus ethics and professional conduct, which is examined inside every subject rather than on its own.
Are the mock exams like the real thing?
Yes. Each paper runs as two separate sessions of 90 questions with 153 minutes on its own clock, single best answer of five, mixed across subjects the way the real paper jumps around. The pacing and the fatigue are the point.
Is this a replacement for an SQE prep course?
It is the practice half, done properly, for a fraction of the price. A course gives you teaching and structure. This gives you questions under a clock, a full explanation every time you get one wrong, and a predicted score that tells you where you actually stand.
What is the predicted score?
A running estimate of the percentage you would score today, built from your answers and corrected for guessing across five options. It is broken down by subject so you can see what is holding you back. It is an estimate, not a guarantee, and it is not an official SRA predictor.
Is there a limit on how many questions I can do a day?
No. Practise for as long as you like and sit as many mocks as you like. The Daily 10 is an optional habit, not a cap.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The whole question bank is on your device, so practice, mocks and review all work with no signal.
How do you keep the law current?
Every question carries the sitting its law is current to, and the app shows you the examinable law cut-off for your own exam date. When the law moves, affected questions are held out of mocks until they have been re-checked.
Are there free SQE1 practice questions?
Yes. Free SQE1 sample questions with full explanations are on our SQE1 practice questions guide, written in the same single best answer style as the ones in the app.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, three days free on the monthly plan. There is also a one-off lifetime option if you would rather not have a subscription.
Is this affiliated with the SRA or Kaplan?
No. It is an independent study tool. The SQE is set by the SRA and delivered by Kaplan, and neither endorses this app.
