SQE2 uses practical stations rather than single-best-answer questions. A useful practice session starts with a file, ends with a response and leaves time to check what you missed.

What does the SQE2 exam assess?
SQE2 assesses practical legal skills and functioning legal knowledge across 16 stations: four oral and 12 written. The current SRA assessment specification sets out the tasks and criteria.
Where can I find SQE2 exam dates and results dates?
The SRA publishes assessment windows, booking deadlines and confirmed results dates on its assessment dates page. Check your sitting before planning a study timetable.
What is the SQE2 pass mark?
There is one overall pass mark for the 16-station assessment, set for each sitting. There is no separate pass mark for oral or written stations.
Are there official SQE2 sample questions?
Yes. The SRA publishes sample tasks, candidate answers, commentary and performance indicators. Use them with the current assessment specification.
Is this an SQE2 preparation course?
No. The app is a practice tool for timed legal skills tasks and self-review. A preparation course may also include teaching, tutor feedback and live oral practice.
Can qualified lawyers apply for an SQE2 exemption?
Only qualified lawyers can apply for SQE exemptions. The SRA decides eligibility. Apply before booking the assessment you seek exemption from.
